Ensuring our people are kept safe and well, and raising awareness of potential dangers related to our operations and locations, is of paramount importance to us.

Basic goal in the sphere of professional and labor safety at Alato Petroleum LLP is maintaining life and health of Refinery personnel. To achieve sustainability, the company designed and developed a integrated management system and made it the essential DNA of its core business value. LLP Alato Petroleum seeks excellence worldwide through a continuous improvement and learning culture.
We make sure to provide adequate resources and education to our personnel to ensure work is carried out safely, professionally and pro-actively.

Industrial safety is provided by constantly acting industrial control of equipment status and safe operations in all the Refinery sectors, increase of professional education of chefs, specialists and operators. We continually work to reduce risks and ensure the safety of everyone who is impacted by our operations. We strive to improve occupational health and safety practices and performance across our entire organisation through implementing standards and policies, training, raising awareness, and sharing information. Every year the Contract is signed between administration and professional union for labor safety, and besides, at Kazanatoil there is a Labor Safety Committee and Social Representatives Institute that provide additional control for following all the safety requirements in their sectors.

Hazardous process units of the Refinery are equipped with computer training complexes for training personnel for possible emergency situations. And each year, every personnel undergo training in the case of fire outbreak and all possible emergencies, saving people.
Refinery personnel are completely equipped with special clothes and individual protection means. Personnel of several workshops are equipped with individual gas analyzers.

Every year all Refinery personnel pass the medical tests. A list of measures is fulfilled for keeping the Refinery personnel healthy: vaccinations are made from influenza and other infection diseases, people are dispatched to resort sanatoriums; people with hazardous labor conditions are provided with diary products and dietary food.

At Alato Petroleum site there is a polyclinics equipped with all the necessary medical tools and medicines for the first medical aid.
