Currently, through strategic cooperation, the Company has an ISO 9001 quality management system, an ISO 14001 environmental management system; ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system; ISO 50001 energy management system. LLP “Alato Petroleum” has been working on the implementation and certification of management systems in accordance with international standards since 2020.


Strategic Management System

The strategic goal of LLP Alato Petroleum is to become a large-scale, vertically integrated, company, with growing production, high-tech refining and stable sales channels. The company also seeks to achieve a balance between production and refining output.

Achieving this goal will require the following:

  • Optimal organic production yield of 5 million tons per year from existing oilfields, and the maintaining of that level for several years;
  • Beginning commercial production at the Khvalynskoye gas fields in 2020, reaching peak production output before 2021;
  • Increasing refining depth and output of light petroleum products to the level of the best European refineries;
  • Improving commercial production quality and provide the technical infrastructure to enable 100% of motor fuel production to meet the Kazakhstan government’s Technical Regulations;
  • Inorganic growth of production and reserves through acquisitions and licensing;
  • Developing controlled distribution channels to the end user (small wholesale, retail, export);
  • Improving the operational efficiency of all sales channels;
  • Cost control within the controlled part of the unit costs.
  • Improving: corporate governance of LLP Alato Petroleum as a vertically integrated structure, the legal system; the ownership and organizational structures;
  • Building an integrated system for planning, monitoring and management reporting;
  • Developing a comprehensive system of personnel management and motivation;
  • Creating a system for developing LLP Alato Petroleum image as that of a vertically integrated oil company, and promoting the brand.

Refinery managers apply the management tools efficiently and correctly and implements the principles of its constant improvement paying a lot of attention to implementing the cutting edge processes and control systems in all the areas of the Refinery operation which enables the enterprise to produce the wide range of the high quality products compliant to the world standards.
